    recites: RO28/3 whereas: there was issue of said marriage Richard Edwards, eldest son and i) and 3 younger children Recites: will of Timothy Edwards 30 July 1778 to son i) £375 to each of 3 daughters £375 Whereas: i) has attained 21 years and received said £375 and also £75 in part of £1,875 his share of £7,500 by said recited Indenture provided for younger children of said marriage, so there is due to him £1,800 Has received no share of £2,500 further provision for said younger children by said Indenture Recites: Lease and Release 20 and 21 July 1778 Post Nuptial Settlement (i) Rice Thomas and wife Margaret née Lloyd, one of the daughters of John Lloyd of Trevor Hall, Denbigh esquire deceased and wife Mary (ii) John Lloyd of Trevor Hall aforesaid esquire, Robert Thomas of Coed Alen aforesaid, gentleman (iii) Thomas Jones of Llantisilio, Denbigh esquire, Paul Panton junior of Plasgwyn, Anglesey esquire, Trevor Lloyd, gentleman, brother of said John Lloyd, Reverend Richard Maurice of Oswestry, Shropshire, clerk Settlement of (i) (i) conveys to (ii) -premises in Caernarvon [not described in detail here] in trust that said Margaret should receive £600 per annum as her jointure to use of iii) for term of 500 years Whereas: there was issue of said marriage Rice Thomas junior their eldest son and iii) who has attained 21 years and 8 younger children Recites: Indenture of Appointment and Demise 15 May 1797 I) Rice Thomas and wife Margaret II) William Joseph Thomas, Thomas Lloyd Thomas, Thomas Lloyd Thomas, 2 younger sons of above, William Bulkeley Hughes esquire and wife Elizabeth (née Thomas), Susanna Thomas, Jane Thomas, Ann Thomas, Trevor Thomas, Pennant Thomas, children of I) III) Richard Edwards of Nanhoron, Caernarvon esquire and Reverend Hugh Davies Griffith of Caerhun, Caernarvon, clerk I) appoint to III) -certain premises in Caernarvon [not described here] for 1,000 years on following trusts: after death of Rice Thomas to raise £6,000 for augmenting portions of younger children of marriage, to apply part on trusts therein contained and residue being £4,166..13..4 to be placed out at interest to be divided annually amongst said unmarried daughters. If any of them marry and by settlement has jointure for £100 she is to be paid 1/5 of £4,166..13..4 Whereas: marriage intended between i) and iii) Recites: Deed Poll of date before presents by ii) revoking proviso by Indenture 15 May 1797 annexed to share of iii) in said £4,166..13..4 and appoints it should be considered an interest absolutely vested in iii) Whereas: ii) wish to make addition to £1,500 potion of iii) Now: i) assigns to iv) -£1,800 -£625 on trusts further: iii) with consent of i) assigns to iv) -£666..13s..4d (her share of £6,000) -£833..6s..8d (her share of £4,166..13..4) on trusts iv) to hold aforesaid sums in trust to place out at interest and apply during lives of i) and iii) £15 per annum as iii) shall appoint and £15 per annum to iii) for her sole use; to apply residue of profits to i) and iii) and to the survivor for life and then to pay the same for benefit of issue of said marriage as i) and iii) shall appoint or in default of appointment to divide the same equally amongst the children [further details given of implementation of said trusts] Recites: Lease and Release 24 and 25 July 1804 (I) Rice Thomas and wife Margaret (II) John Hutchinson of Wrexham, Denbigh, gentleman (III) Sir William Bulkeley Hughes of Planock, Anglesey, knight and by Common Recovery suffered in pursuance thereof -certain premises in Llangollen, Llanlisilio, and Llanverry in Denbigh and certain premises in Mola inFlint and certain premises in Llanrhaider inMocknant, Pennant, Llangynog and Llanwythen in Montgomery were conveyed to uses as (I) should appoint Now further: ii) agree to convey to iv) so much of premises in last recited Indenture as shall be considered adequate security for £1,500 Further: ii) in pursuance of power granted them by Indenture 24 and 25 July 1804 appoint that until mortgage last hereinbefore mentioned shall be complete, all premises in said Indenture shall be liable to payment of £1,500 as aforesaid Witnesses: John Augustus Francis Simpkinson of Lincolns Inn; James Dutton, Hastings, Sussex Copy attested 13 December 1872 by Joshua Day and Charles John Bowley, clerk to Mr Lodder, 5 Southampton Buildings, Holborn
