    Recites: RO24/3 by which there was conveyed to Thomas Harrison to make him tenant for suffering a recovery premises as below whereas: recovery was duly suffered whereas: John Earl Spencer is since deceased leaving Lord Viscount Althrope Now George John Earl Spencer him surviving Now: consideration: £1,350 i) appoints that aforesaid premises be released to use of ii) and accordingly releases to him: -farmhouse in Millbrook and several lots of fern and turf belonging -orchard and Homeclose being old enclosure called Dovehouse Close, 6 acres -old enclosure called Reads, 1 acre 2 roods -several parcels of arable in common fields of Millbrook, 40 acres and called Eight Acres, Twelve Acres, Gang [Gay] Piece, Broomley [Bromley] and Langcroft [Long Croft] i) covenant to produce deeds to ii) viz: RO24/1 Probate of will of Duchess of Marlborough dated 11 August 1744 with codicil 14 August 1744 Lease and Release 18 and 19 May 1769 i. Hugh Earl of Marchmont ii. John Earl Spencer called Lord Viscount Althrope, thenan infant, Lady Georgiana Spencer, Lady Henrietta Spencer, both infants, daughters of i) iii.
