Dear Sirs We hereby give you notice that by an indenture dated 30th day of March 1897 and made between Robert Luke Howard, Eliot Howard, Robert Samuel Lloyd and Henry Fox Howard of the one part and Samuel Lloyd Howard of the other part the lands heredetaments, buildings and fixed machinery, situate in the parish of Luton in the county of Bedford included in a mortgage by Robert Luke Howard and Eliot Howard dated 19th December 1872 as also subsequent deeds of further charge now vested in you under Transfer of mortgage and Further Charges by David Howard in your favour dated 11th August 1896 have been conveyed to the said Samuel Lloyd Howard subject to the existing first Mortgage and further charges to secure £4000 and interest.
