Great Park :N. close of Sir Francis Staunton, knight :E. Haselwood Lane -4 acres arable, ley and meadow used with said cottage, dispersed in Howend and Houghton Conquest all purchased by George Bird, deceased of Thomas Rivers of Strelley [Streatley]. husbandman, son and heir of John Rivers late of Sharpenhoe in Strelly [Streatley], husbandman, deceased and Elizabeth Rivers of the same, widow, late wife of said John Rivers deceased by Feoffment 28 March 1676 [RO15/1] by which fine i) and ii) will acknowledge premises to be right of iii) to use of iv) in trust for uses as i) shall appoint Witnesses: Richard Ward of Leighton Buzzard, attorney at law; William Humpherys master of the Black Raven in Chiswell Street, St Lukes, Middlesex; Thomas Deverell of Leighton Buzzard, attorney at law
