    Whereas: i) is seised during the joint lives of himself and his wife Margaret in right of his said wife of manor and lands below mentioned, being jointure of said Margaret from Robert Denis her former husband Now: Consideration: £1,500 paid i) by William Gregory i) conveys to John Edline -manor of Pilling alias Pillage with appurtenances -scite of said manor -capital messuage or manor house wherein Roger Saunders dwells in Marston Mortaine, with dovehouse and other outhouses -close of pasture called the Severall Bashcroft, 20 acres 2 roods 30 perches -2 spinneys or grovetts and coppices adjoining said close, 3 roods -2 closes called the Pease Closes in Millbrook, 13 acres 17 perches in occupation of William Wheeler -2 grovetts or coppices adjoining said closes, 1 acre 3 roods -Shortwood in Marston and Wootton, 8 acres -60 acres arable and leys in Marston, particularly abutted in schedule annexed to one part of the marriage settlement of the said Margaret Squire with Robert Dennis her former husband, dated 3 November 1674 -22 acres 2 roods meadow in meadow called Dudmore -close of pasture called \franklins, 6 acres to hold to John Edline for 99 years if the said Robert Squire and wife Margaret shall jointly live so long rent 1d per annum if demanded, in trust for William Gregory recites; RO14/39 now further: for better securing repayment of said £1,500 ii) grant to iii) -premises as in RO14/39 for term of 1,000 years, rent 1d per annum if demanded repayment: by i) to William Gregory £1,575 viz: £37..10 on 23 January next £1,537..10 on 23 July 1704 in the Middle Temple Hall, London Premises are free of all incumbrances except the jointure of Margaret wife of i) Signatures: all parties but Edline Witnesses: Benjamin Tooke junior, George Grafton, P Tanner Endorsement: no.35
