    Consideration: £4,150 paid to i) by ii) the same sum expressed in Feoffment from John Saunders senior to Robert Denis [RO14/18] -manor of Pillinge alias Pillage with appurtenances -scite of said manor -capital messuage or manor house wherein Roger Saunders now dwells in Marston Mortaine, with the dovehouse and other appurtenances -close of pasture called the Severall Bashcroft, 20 acres 2 roods 30 perches and 2 grovetts and coppices adjoining, 3 roods -close of pasture called the Common Bashcroft, 22 acres 1 rood and one spring, grovett or coppice adjoining, 3 roods -close called Longlands, 27 acres 2 roods -Bigger Bushy Close, 26 acres and one grovett or coppice at the lower end of the same, 4 acres 1 rood all in Marston and Wootton and all (except the coppices) now in occupation of said Roger Saunders -Pease Closes in Millbrook, 13 acres 17 perches in occupation of Roger Saunders and 2 grovetts or coppices adjoining, 1 acre 3 roods -messuage with appurtenances in Marston -2 acres meadow in Southmead in Marston in occupation of widow Allinson -messuage in Marston called Francklyns with appurtenances in occupation of Samuel Beale -close called Richards in Marston aforesaid 10 acres in occupation of Samuel Beale -wood called Shortwood in Marston and Wootton, 8 acres -22 acres 2 roods meadow in Dudmore in Marston in occupation of Roger Saunders -60 acres arable and ley in Marston dispersed in common fields (fully described in annexed schedule) and all other arable of i) in Marston covenant to levy fine before end of Hilary Term next of said premises and also of: -water mill and wind mill with houses, yards and other appurtenances -Dovecoate Close -Millclose -Leyclose -messuage called Tysams with appurtenances and 7 acres meadow belonging -close called Great Princes -Twelve Acres Close -Lesser Bushy Close -Woodclose -messuage or cottage called Gilmans with appurtenances and 2 pightles pasture adjoining by the name of : -manor of Pillinge alias Pillage; 6 messuages; 2 tofts; 1 watermill; 1 windmill; 1 dovehouse; 6 gardens; 80 acres land; 32 acres meadow; 300 acres pasture; 18 acres wood; 20 acres furze and heath with appurtenances in Marston Mortaine, Millbrook and Wootton covenant to suffer recovery with iii) as demandants which fine and recovery are to enure to following uses: -premises hereby conveyed, to use of Robert Denis and his heirs -other premises aforesaid included in said fine and recovery to use of John Saunders senior and his heirs free of all claims under Sir John Saunders, knight, deceased father of John Saunders senior.
