Thomas Hunte to use of iii. recites: Deed of Feoffment 10 April 30 Elizabeth [1588] I) Thomas Hunte II) Thomas Snagge father of said Sir Thomas Snagge -premises as in Feoffment above recites: Deed poll Indented [sic] of Feoffment (I) Lewes Lord Mordaunt (II) Thomas Snagge, serjeant at law -moiety of Rectory of Bosyat alias Bozyat [Bozeat], Northamptonshire and of patronage of Vicarage of the same and wood called Abbots Stonywey, 18 acres, to use of (I) until said Rowse Wood and pightle should be evicted from (II) and then to use of (II) by said Feoffment and Indenture declaring the use of said Feoffment whereas: by agreement between parties to presents i) is to give ii) security for enjoying the premises by these presents conveyed and to retain to himself the said moiety of the rectory and other premises now: Consideration: £520 -Rowse Wood alias Rowses Wood alias Rowsbury Wood -pightle with a tenement thereon lately built adjoining said wood, called Rowsbury Pightle, containing 1½ acres pasture both in Wootton -close of pasture in Marston Mortaine called Bashhcrofte in occupation of ii) :W. end partly on meadow of ii) called Deadmeere and partly on close of pasture of ii) called Bashcrofte :N. partly on close of ii) called Kennill Close and partly on meadow of ii) called the Little Mead Close :E. wood of ii) called Shortwood :S. other grounds which ii) holds by lease and copy of the King called Starnehill alias Starnyhill Signature: i) Witnesses: Francis Crawley, Robert Stanton, Thomas Underwood, William Warde Endorsement: no.11
