    Whereas: marriage intended between Robert Dennis and Margaret Bird £500 portion paid to Robert Dennis Margaret has agreed to settle on Robert Dennis all her lands in Launden aforesaid worth £50 per annum within 6 months after she attains 21 years now: i) conveys to ii) -manor of Pillinge alias Pillage with appurtenances -scite of said manor -capital messuage or manor house wherein Roger Saunders lately dwelt with dovehouse and appurtenances -close of pasture called the Several Bashcroft, 20 acres 2 roods 32 perches and 2 grovetts and coppices adjoining, 3 roods -close of pasture called the Common Bashcroft, 22 acres 1 rood and one spring, grovett or coppice adjoining, 3 roods -close called Longlands, 27 acres 2 roods -Bigger Bushy Close, 26 acres and one grovett or coppice at the lower end of the same, 4 acres 1 rood all in Marston and Wootton and all late in occupation of Roger Saunders and now in occupation of Roger Saunders, William Bedcott and Robert Dennis -2 closes of pasture called the Pease Closes in Millbrook, 13 acres 17 perches late in occupation of Roger Saunders, now in occupation of Robert Dennis, and 2 grovetts or coppices adjoining, 1 acre 3 roods -messuage with appurtenances in Marston -2 acres meadow in Southmead in Marston late in occupation of widow Allinson and now in occupation of John Allinson -Horse Close in Marston, 8 acres 1 rood in occupation of John Allinson -messuage in Marston called Franklyns with appurtenances, late in occupation of Samuel Beale and now in occupation of Richard Dennis -close called Richards in Marston, 10 acres late in occupation of Samuel Beale and now in occupation of Richard Dennis -wood called Shortwood in Marston and Wootton, 8 acres -22 acres 2 roods meadow in Dudmore in Marston late in occupation of Roger Saunders and now in occupation of Robert Dennis -60 acres arable and ley in Marston dispersed in the common fields and described in schedule annexed to one part of theses presents [not annexed to this copy] late in occupation of Roger Saunders and now in occupation of Robert Dennis reserves to Mathew Dennis 40s part of fee farm rent purchased by William Dennis payable out of Pease Closes and the coppice adjoining aforesaid premises to be held to ii) on following trusts; -manor house -22 acres 2 roods meadow -60 acres arable -Several Bashcroft -Pease Closes -Shortwood -close called Franklins (but not the messuage) being 6 acres in occupation of Richard Dennis to use of Robert Dennis for life and then to use of Margaret Bird for life and then to their heirs male, in default to ii) for 200 years on trusts hereinafter mentioned -Bigger Bushy Close -Horse Close to use of Robert and Margaret for life and then to use of ii) for 99 years -residue of premises to Robert Dennis and his male issue aforesaid term of 200 years in trust to provide portions for daughters if there is no male issue; £1,200 for an only daughter or £2,000 to be divided between 2 or more daughters aforesaid term of 99 years in trust that if Margaret predeceases Robert without issue, ii) may raise from premises so limited £500 to pay such persons as Margaret shall have directed or pay said sum to Margaret if Robert predecease her Signatures: all but Margaret Bird Witnesses: Jo.Brown, George Wakeford, Edward Edwards Endorsement: no.21
