    a) Sent 24 December 1914 to G M Londen, London from F B Jessett. Message reads: 'All good wishes for Xmas & the New Year & may it turn out better than tis one.'. Letter sent to Mr Chrystal in 1985 says that Mr Jessett was the son of a famous surgeon of London and uncle by marriage to Col Bob Foote, the 1st Bedford School boy to win the VC.
