Reciting surrender of Matthew Deverell, Leighton Buzzard, cabinet maker, in consideration of £19 of - small piece of garden ground near Market Place at Leighton Buzzard, 18ft in length and 8ft in breadth, with the Privy built thereon South - yard and' premises of Samuel Hopkins East - garden of Francis Ratt North - Benjamin Reeve West - garden of said Mathew Deverell with liberty to build on the well adjoining said piece of ground lately erected and built by Mathew Deverell with liberty of access etc from said piece of land to alley to which (with other property) said Matthew Deverell was admitted tenant at a Court held on 30 and 31 October 1817 on the surrender of Thomas Odell Quit rent - 1 peppercorn
