    Reciting that Edmund Morris late of Chorley Wood, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire esquire by his last will dated 8 Jly 1824 gave to his second son Henry Bebb Morris his estate at Caddington, in tail male, and in default of male issue the estate was to go to Charles Morris and to his sons, and that the will was proved on 11 Jan 1827 Reciting that on 6 Dec 1838 a preliminary order was made and confirmed at Bedfordshire Quarter Sessions on 6 Apr 1831 ...That a certain lane in Caddington leading from Woodside into the road leading from Luton towards Caddington Green, being 1207 yards long and of the medium breadth of 22 feet was unnecessary and useless and was to be stopped up and the soil sold by the Surveyor of the Highways for the said parish to the persons whose lands adjoined if they were willing to purchase the same for the full value thereof. Reciting that 1 acre 1 rood 34 perches of the soil of the land had been sold to Henry Bebb Morris for £30 reserving a passage through the lane Reciting that by his will Henry Bebb Morris devised his real property to Paulina Mary Carrington, and his will was proved in the Prorogative Court of Canterbury 6 Mar 1848 Reciting that on death of Henry Bebb Morris his life interest in the estate terminated, and Charles Morris entered into the property and received the rents Reciting that by her will dated 27 Oct 1866 Paulina Mary Carrington devised to her friend Charles Spooner (among other things) all her cottages and real estate in Bedfordshire for ever, and that she died on 18 Jun 1872 and her will was proved Birmingham District Registry Reciting Indenture 27 Nov 1873 between 1) Charles Spooner 2) Bella Amelie Simond spinster being mortgage of premises and further charge 27 May 874 Reciting indenture 8 May 1875 between 1) Charles Spooner 2) Right Honorable Lord Amelius Wentworth Beauclerk Being CONVEYANCE of equity of redemption on premises Reciting indenture 27 Jun 1876 between 1) Lord Amelius Wentworth Beauclerk 2) John Hight Blundell being CONVEYANCE of premises Reciting indenture dated 22 Sep 1877 made between 1) Bella Amelie Simond 2) John Hight Blundell Being release of mortgage and RECONVEYANCE of premises reciting that Blundell has asked for his present lease of the premises to be cancelled and a new one granted for 21 years at an auual rent of £290, and as a consideration has said that he will convey to Charles Morris the soild of the same road so that it can be joined to the estate NOW: CONVEYANCE by (i) to (ii) for the consideration aforesaid ... Land formerly part of a lane in Caddington containing by measurement 1 acre 1 rood 34 perches in Caddington, Bedfordshire which is more particularly delineated and described in the plan annexed to the recited order of the 3 Dec 1830
