    Executors and trustees: sons John Chandler, Frank Chandler and Harry Chandler, and friend Harry Sear of Manor Farm, Eggington Gives £100 to wife Ruth Chandler Gives and bequeaths all household furniture and effects to wife Devises and bequeaths all real estate and residue of personal estate to be realised by trustees and invested to provide income to wife Ruth Chandler for life. After her death £1000 to be invested to provide income for daughter Nellie Chandler for life. Remainder of estate to be divided equally between his children Ruth Skeggs, Clara Harris, Evelyn Dorothy Barker, John Chandler, Frank Chandler and Harry Chandler. Provides that if Nellie Chandler shall be married at date of his wife’s death the £1000 shall be deemed part of his residuary estate and be divided with the rest with Nellie Chandler taking an equal share with his other children. If Nellie Chandler marries after his wife’s death she is to take a portion of the £1000 equivalent to the amount received under his will by his other children and the remainder of the £1000 to be divided equally between all his children. If unmarried Nellie Chandler to have right to devise the amount that would have come to her as part of her estate. If any of his children die leaving issue they are to divide their parent's share equally. Proved in DPR Lewes on 16 December 1940. Administration granted to Frank Chandler of Someries Farm, Luton and Hary Chandler of Pepsal End Farm, near Luton, farmers. John Chandler renounced probate.
