    to be buried in Haversham chancel by [beside] wife to 100 poor silenced ministers, 20s each to Arthur, Helena and Elizabeth Thompson, the 3 children of son Sir John Thompson, baronet, £100 each at 21 years to grandchildren by eldest daughter the Lady Katherine Witwrong, late wife of Sir John Witwrong , knight and baronet as follows: to Mrs Katherine Witwrong, the eldest daughter £400 to Anne Witwrong, the 2nd daughter £200 to Helena Witwrong, the 3rd daughter £200 to be paid at age 21 or marriage to 2 "hopefull" grandchildren, William and Samuel Olfeild, £100 each Gives and confirms to brothers George, Sir William and Robert Thompson trustees for Martha Corsellis, daughter of testator, £100 per annum to be paid to her to said Martha Corsellis £100 to Nicholas Corsellis, her son, £100 at age of 26 to testator's 4th daughter Elizabeth Alston, wife of Joseph Alston esquire £100 to her 3 hopeful sons, Joseph, Edward and Maurice Alston £100 each to be paid at age of 21 to son Sir John Thompson baronet, all freehold lands in England, Ireland, Barbados, Antegoa, St Christophers, Virginia, the Caribee Islands and elsewhere for life and after his death to Arthur, eldest son of said Sir John Thompson for life and to his heirs male to said Sir John Thompson, all leases for years, merchandises and adventures and East India Adventure and the profits thereof and all other personal estate on trust to be divided by deed or last will, the principal money amongst all his children to said Sir John Thompson for life and after death to his 2nd son all houses, lands and gardens without Bishop's Gate, London to said Sir John Thompson for life and after death to his 3rd son premises in White Chappell, in George Yard and Vinegar Yard but if Lady Frances, wife of said Sir John shall die in his lifetime, then said Sir John may settle jointure of £700 per annum for life on any woman he shall marry appoints said Sir John Thompson executor and brothers George, Sir William and Robert Thompson overseers if Sir John Thompson dies before said Arthur Thompson attains 21 years then said brother Robert Thompson to be executor of this will and to see to the breeding up of said Arthur in the fear of God Copy transcribed from and examined with copy of said will in keeping of Thomas Armstrong of Ampthill, Bedfordshire esquire by William Pedder
