- Scope and ContentParties: (i) Charles Lockhart of Dunstable, draper (ii) Mary Bates of Dunstable, widow Reciting: - agreement of 7 December 1866 between (1) Charles Lockhart (since deceased) father of (i), and (2) John Young, predecessor in title of Mary Bates that tank situated on land on which Charles Lockhart was about to build should be filled up and properly constructed drain to be laid from premises of (1) and (2) to the sewer in Church Street Operative part: - (i) to allow (ii) to use the new drain for conveyance of sewage from her property - new drain from the point where the joint connection is made to be laid at joint expense of (i) and (ii)and future repairs and maintenance to be at joint expense - connections from the separate properties of (i) and (ii) to the point of the joint connection to be at separate expense - expense of filling up the tank and any other expenses not mentioned to be joint - (i) may make use of the wall of (ii) adjoining the new building as a lean to Witnesses - Henry Sergant, clerk to Benning & Son, solicitors, Dunstable - Charles Derbyshire
