    reciting: Conveyance 1) The North British Mercantile Insurance Company 2) Sir Joseph Thomas Firbank of St Julians, Newport, Monmouthshire (vendor) 3) Henry Burridge of Cauldwell House, Bedford, brick manufacturer (purchaser) parcel of land on E. side of Elstow Road, containing 5 acres 3 roods 16 perches abutting W. Elstow Road E., N. and S. land of Sir T Firbank (see plan) with estate and with (if any) of the company and the vendor in the strip of land between the hedge on the W. side of the above premises and Elstow Road Consideration £1,830..10s paid to the company, in part discharge of money owed to it by the vendor, under a mortgage of 1907 with National Provincial Bank, transferred to above company 1909 with separate Covenant between the Company and Burridge including obligation on Burridge to make new roads intended to be called Firbank Road and Bridge Street indicated on plan, with drains, water channels and sewers and footpaths, by March 1912, to satisfaction of Local Authority and Vendor further Covenant between Vendor and Purchaser regarding right of way to footbridge over the railway, should the Purchaser choose to construct one All these 25 Aug 1910 Conveyance 1) Henry Burridge, vendor 2) Higgins and Sons Limited, of Castle Brewery, Bedford piece of land, part of newly built estate, “The Elstow Building Estate” W. 40A Elstow Road S.
