(2) Articles of Agreement, 8 August 1799 by (a) William Horne senior (b) Ann Hesse (daughter of Ann and James Hesse) (c) George Brooks and John Woodley, on marriage of (a) and (b): (b) entitled to £1,000, which was to be settled on (c) in trust (3) similar articles of agreement before marriage of Martha Hesse to Arthur Bold, 15 April 1800. (4) endorsement on numbers (2) and (3) above, abandoning purchase of leasehold land with less than 21 years to run, which was to be reconverted into money. Purchaser agreed to take freehold and leasehold lands for £9,197.10.9d., which was used to purchase £14,834 3% Consols).
