Mary is well, though thin; has left children at Falloden by Wardell's advice. Gives an account of the weather; wheat; trees etc. Told Adam that nothing could be done till the accumulation was complete, & then would invest upon the requisition of Sheridan & Hesther. Laying out money in land must be guarded against. Mary is delighted with the things writer's sister got for her. Plumer asked for a character to be given.
