    Agent to late Mr W.C.Watson from August 1897 until his death 7 February 1906 and had the entire management of the Colworth Park Estate. Reference to Conveyance of 15 February 1894. Area of Wold Farm is there described as 119 Acres, 0 Roods, 16 Poles while described in Particulars of Sale of Colworth Park Estate auctioned at the Mart, Tokenhouse Yard, London. 16 July 1906, as containing 151Acres, 0Roods, 28 Poles. Prior to Michaelmas 1898 area was 119 Acres, 0Roods, 16Poles but then it was relet with Kings Close and Old Close (33Acres, 3Roods, 4Poles) + Total of 152Acres, 3Roods, 20Poles from which have to be deducted 2 Roods, 31Poles the area of the house & garden included in the area of the Wold farm as described in deed of 15 February 1894 BUT House & garden are now in hand. In deed of 15 February 1894 Town Farm is described as containing 255Acres, 1Rood, 28Poles but in Particulars of Sale of 16 July, 1906, 283Acres, 1Rood, 1Pole. Explanation: 1899 addit closes added to the farm Hither Close (7Acres, 1Rood, 3Poles); Rowley (14Acres, 2Roods, 26Poles) : In 1905 'Great New Ground' (a Close) was added to the farm (6Acres, 0Roods, 26Poles) Total area of 283Acres, 2Roods, 4Poles.
