Copy letter from James Bernard Allen stating he had applied for an instructor position at Liverpool Flying Club, asking him to recommend him for the job. [23 May 1928] Letter from Sir Sefton Brancker to James Bernard Allen stating that he had written to Mr Thornton of Liverpool Club to recommend him. [24 May 1928] Copy letter from James Bernard Allen to Sir Sefton Brancker telling him that he had been appointed Pilot Instructor at Liverpool Flying Club and would be taking up duties at Hooton in September. Thanks him for the recommendation [20 Aug 1928].
