Campton Corn Rent - the arbitrators being Thomas Bloodworth of Kimbolton, Anthony Jackson of Barkway in the county of Hertford and William Wells Gardener of Biggleswade. They report the average price of a Winchester Bushel of good marketable wheat in the County of Bedford, over the previous 15 years, to be 7s 4d and a farthing. This is lower than the previous rent of 10s 4d. It is ordered that the yearly corn rent be reduced to £229 9s 7d.
