- Scope and ContentEdward Clarke: he discharged his servant Frederick Swinson in consequence of his misconduct and desired him to return his jacket on Friday last. Swinson neglected to do so and had not since returned it. Swinson was bound to do so by his contract. He believed that Swinson had sold the jacket and converted it to his own use. Swinson had sold other clothes Clarke had given him.
