    Rectory and advowson of Cranfield, charged with payment of £2000 in trust for 3 younger children Eliza, Rebecca and John Frederick, and subject thereto, to Reverend George Cardale clerk,rector of Millbrook, Reverend George John Davies of Campton, clerk, and James Moncrief Sutherland Glenie of Bury St. Edmunds, gentleman, in trust to present son Thomas now at Cambridge to living of Cranfield, if he is in orders and will accept it, if not eldest son George now at Oxford; if neither son takes it George Cardale to have it; if not him, James Aspinwall vicar of Kempston; if not him, some clergyman of 60 years of age and upwards, and trustees to sell advowson; trees. are to raise the £2000 for younger children. Cardale is to ""complete education of sons George and Thomas."" Confirms marriage settlement (wife formerly Rebecca Smith spinster), 1784. To wife and daughter Rebecca household goods etc. equally; books and Mss. to sons Thomas and George. Estate in Llangarthen, Caermarthen, occupied Elizabeth Stephens late Williams, to her for life, then to son John Frederick. If neither son takes priest's orders, then £300 to Thomas, £10 to George. Copyhold estate to daughters Elizabeth and Rebecca and said John Frederick. Res. legs.: Elizabeth, Rebecca and John Frederick. Executors: trees.; £30 to Cardale and £10 to others. Codicils: 2nd of which presents Thomas to the living, 1809.
