Recites : Marriage Settlement (Lease & Release) 30 & 31 Aug 1769, between Edward Rudd the grandson and Margaret Miles of Worcester, spinster, settling jointure of £100 p.a. Will of Edward Rudd the grandson, 12 April 1797, and death in same year, Margaret appointed executor on trust to sell estate within 3 years after death. Mortgage of £4,668 now due to 3 as executor. Freehold hereby conveyed : 3 acres 1rood 18 perches arable, formerly several pieces and now laid together, in North Field, Biggleswade, in West Furlong, bounded on North by land of George Musgrave Esq., East by copyhold land in middle Furlong purchased by Birchens of Rudd, South by land of J. Winn, & West by lane from Biggleswade town to the Common. Covenant by 6 (who has purchased land from 1 of greater value) to produce deeds (mortgages by Rudd beginning 1728)
