On the wall of the house is a sign for C Clayson & Son, Brick and Tile makers [Clayson is listed in a 1906 directory at The Green, Harrold and there is a 13 year-old Lizzie Clayson, daughter of Morton Clayson listed on the 1901 census at The Green Harrold, next door to Charles Clayson].
