    i) William Stewardson of Woburn, gentleman, Richard Boughton of Ridgmont, brickmaker and wife Martha which William and Richard are trustees and executors of Elizabeth Batchelder of Ampthill widow, 2 of the residuary legatees named in her will ii) Samuel Davis of Ampthill, gentleman, lately Samuel Davis junior and surviving trustee of premises hereinafter released for Samuel Batchelder deceased iii) William Boughton of Ampthilll, brickmaker, William Palmer of Foots Cray, Kent, yeoman and wife Mary [Philip] Strange of Luton, farmer and wife Ann which William, Mary, and Ann are residuary legatees of will of Elizabeth Batchelder iv) Thomas Evans of Ampthill, surveyor, Henry Spring of Ampthill, innholder v) Charles Austin of Ampthill, gentleman, Evan Jones of Ampthill, carpenter Recites: RH4/10-11 whereas: Richard Boughton has offered to purchase premises hereinafter named for £250 £100 due to him on mortgage of the same to be retained by him in discharge of said mortgage whereas: residuary legatees i) and iii) are each entitled to 1/5 part of the purchase money i.e. £30 each of which they acknowledge receipt now: i) at request of iii) convey to iv) - 2 messuages on allotment hereinafter mentioned at the end of Woburn Street in Ampthill lately built thereon by Samuel Batchelder son of said Elizabeth Batchelder in occupation James Wesley and John Wildman - plot on Ampthill Warren 1 acre 2 roods 31 perches : N. public drain no.3 : E. private road : S. allotment to Joseph Pulley : W. public drain no.1 awarded to said Samuel Batchelder at Enclosure of Ampthill who built said 2 messuages thereon and by will bequeathed the same to his mother Elizabeth Batchelder to hold to uses as Richard Boughton and wife Martha shall declare Recites:RH4/9 now: Richard Boughton at request of William Stewardson and iii) assigns to v) - said premises for remainder of term of 1,000 years, on trust for such person as shall be entitled to the premises whereas: vi) is in possession of title deeds of said premises as purchaser of other premises of greater value; covenants to produce to Richard Boughton and wife Martha originals of RH4/1-6, 9 Signed: all parties Witnesses: Harriet Davis, Charles Austin junior, William Clark of Ampthill, servant to Mr Davis
