- to wife Ann cottage and premises at Millbrook and close at Ampthill purchased of William Farnell, for life; from her death or remarriage, cottage to 4 children Thomas, William, Samuel and Ann wife of John Pedder equally - to Samuel Allen son of testator’s deceased son John £10 - to wife and son Thomas all household goods and personal estate; son Thomas to invest profits from personal estate and pay the profits to wife Ann for life; after her death said household goods and personal estate to 4 children equally - sister Lydia Burridge so long as she continue a widow not to be turned out of premises she occupies belonging to testator so long as she continues to pay usual rent - testator joined in note of hand for £60 to said Lydia jointly with son-in-law John Pedder; if executors compelled to pay same then £60 to be deducted out of the share of daughter Ann Pedder out of real and personal estates - wife Ann and son Thomas executors Witnesses: Charlotte Roberts, Samuel Davis, William Field Probate: Archdeaconry of Bedford by executors
