The freehold premises were purchased by Susanna Allin, widow, in 1735 and in 1736 conveyed to the use of her son Thomas, then a minor, who reached his majority in1747. On his death in 1805 he left the property to his wife Ann for life and to be divided between his four surviving children after her death, which occurred in 1824.
