Scope and Content
Asks for the clause in a Bill by which the Trustees of the road would be authorised to oppose the Bill for the bridge, which has repeatedly been promised. The Trustees originally took on a duty which they are unable to fulfill, whereby a charge has devolved on the county of Bedford, and which the magistrates wish to render as light as possible in the most equitable manner.
