recites a) death of John Hide : admitted 17 and 18 April 1781 on surrenders Will of John Hide, father : cottage in Biggleswade : Malting + 1 acre : 2 acres 1 rood in Townfield, Biggleswade John Hide II : Mother, Elizabeth Hide lands and houses, stock in trade etc. and Mary Bowker of Stoney Stratford, Buckinghamshire And Mary and Sarah Steward of Biggleswade 4 equal shares Trustees John Steward of Biggleswade and Elizabeth Bowker, shopkeeper of Stoney Stratford (power to dispose when Mary Steward is 21) made 27 Jan 1791 death of brother William Hide, yeoman, intestate, leaving heirs his sister Elizabeth Bowker (shopkeeper) and 2 Steward nieces daughters of his sister Mary : presents death of Elizabeth Hide : admit the 2 stewards to moiety as Tenants in common rents 6d, 2d, 5d (Appointment of John Steward their father as guardian) 6 and 7 May 1794 2) presents death of Mary Parbery (widow of John Parbery) she was nèe Bowker and was sister and heir of Elizabeth Bowker, spinster, deceased presents death of Frederick Parbery, her only child admits: Mary and Sarah Steward to other moiety 23 and 24 Oct 1801 As to 1 moiety conditional surrender as mortgage in £100 + 5% interest Edward Sandon of Biggleswade, plumber and glazier and Sarah his wife (nèe Steward) : Samuel Wells of Biggleswade, brewer, mortgagee (NB Henry Octavius Roe, Deputy Steward of Manor) 4 May 1814 Further conditional surrender in £100 + 5% interest parties as above 27 Jul 1821 Surrender by Edward and Sarah Sandon (out of court on 22 May 1822) to their use for their lives, reversion to joint child or children (if later joint tenants) 8 and 9 Apr 1823 : presents death of Sarah Edward admitted 20 and 21 Apr 1827 : presents death of Edward Sandon on 22 May 1848 had had 5 children; John Steward Sandon (of Biggleswade, plumber and glazier), William Sandon (of Great Berkhampstead, Hertfordshire, plumber and glazier), Charles (deceased), Ann (wife of George Pepper of Biggleswade, watchmaker) and George (deceased) : 3 children admitted who then sell out to John Steward Sandon for £360 : admit John Steward Sandon Other moiety : recites surrender of Mary Steward of Bigglewade, spinster, as part of marriage settlement with John Smith of Dunton, farmer : to Robert Lindsell, Trustee reversion to nephew John Steward Sandon 3 messuages, Biggleswade in occupation of Edward Sandon, John Richardson, Thomas Orton erected on site of cottage, sometime since burnt down And malting and 1 acre of land with several buildings on site occupied by Mountfort Docura, William Edwards, Edward Sandon and John Richardson And 2 acres 1 rood of arable in Town Field all in Biggleswade August 1836 death of Mary Smith (nèe Smith) (?Steward), buried at Biggleswade 27 April 1838 made 1849
