- TitleJohn Cannon of Northill, convicted of stealing a post being found on his premises which he is said to have come by unlawfully. John Cannon is adjudged to pay the sum of £2 and the value of the article 4 shillings. If in default of immediate payment, to be imprisoned and kept at hard labour in the New House of Correction for 2 calendar months unless the sum shall be paid sooner. They direct the sum of £2 to William Jakes, one of the overseers of the poor of the parish and the sum of 4 shillings to be paid to the Trustees of the Turnpike Road leading from Biggleswade to Alconbury Hull, the owners of the post.
