- Scope and ContentMrs White to be called to prove John Harris was the person that threw the stone and broke the window. Although he thought she would be wrong in dates. Mrs Satchell and Eliza Hadden will prove Mrs White was in the house at the time of the riot. Mrs Appleby will endeavour to prove an alibi for Manton Snr and will speak of him being at home before and after the riot but she could not speak of the imtermediate hour. Mr Cottsworth would prove Manton was at work in his house at 9am on 13th. If an attempt is to be made in the defence that he was very ill.
