  • Title
    James Compton, convicted of stealing certain parts of 2 fir trees, the value of 1 shilling and property of the Honorable Ongley widow. James Compton is adjudged to pay the sum of 6d over and above the amount of injury and the sum of 4s in costs. If in default of immediate payment, to be imprisoned and kept at hard labour in the New House of Correction. They direct the sum of 6d shillings to be paid to William Skilleter, one of the Overseers of the Poor for the parish of Sandy and the sum of 6d costs to be paid to the complainant, Ongley.
