- Scope and ContentRichard Gee of Turvey, land surveyor. *Those pieces crossed out have been included in square brackets.* To brother's Thomas Gee and [Edward Gee] and Thomas Rice of Clerkenwell, London and Robert Eyles of Turvey, all my estate in Moulton, Northamptonshire, upon trust [to permit parents to have use and occupation of houses which I purchased of him at Moulton,expect that part now occupied by Catherine Chamberlain, for life] for son, Edward, on reaching 25, subject to payment of £210 to be paid to executors and regarded as part of residual estate. To son, Edward, best gold watch to son, Thomas, chime clock to son, William, metal watch and silver tankard to son, Richard, gold watch with his name on face to daughter, Amelia, on reaching 21, all tea china, tea tray, silver teaspoons, cream jug and two tea urns to mother [and father] £10 to buy mourning to mother, executors and brother, William, a good gold ring each to sisters [£5] £10 to servant, Jane Bartlett, [£5] ''leave a blank'' written in pencil to daughter, late wife's wearing apparel to son, Richard, gold sleeve buttons to son, William, gold studs remainder to trustees to be sold; money towards maintenance of children and then divided in equal shares on their reaching 21 intrest of £400 for life of my mother, Elizabeth Gee, and £8 - 8 - 0 to Jane Bartlett for life, being sum of her present wages.
