Witnesses: Mary Pedder, William Pedder. 22 Feb 1744/5 Endorsement: £40 was not paid, and therefore the estate in law of William Crouch became absolute for the residue of term of 1000 years; having agreed for the purchase of the freehold, he has assigned for 5s to Peregrine Woods of Ampthill, tailor, the residue of the term in trust in order to protect the premises from all mesne encumbrances.
