The cottage used for the reception of the poor of Flitwick was too small and incommodious. Another house has been built near it by Evan Jones of Ampthill, carpenter, for £150, borrowed of Joseph Gibbons of Tingrith, yeoman, which sum is to be repaid out of the poor rate.
