A messuage in the South end of Ampthill in occupation of John Carter and Henry Potter, recently pulled down and built again; a piece of ground separated by walls from the ground late of Thomas Lister and the Quakers’ burying-ground; being part of the ground formerly purchased with the messuage by Thomas Lister of Richard Farnell; 3 messuages, lately built thereupon, in the occupation of William Johnson; 7 perches, with a messuage now building upon the same, adjoining an ancient inclosure of William Wilcox, allotments to Humphrey Oarte (now Robert Furze) and John Newman ( now Henry Spring); a plot (27 perches) on the place lately called Ampthill warren; 6 new erected messuages thereon in occupation of Martha Elliott, John Clark, Thomas Stapleton, Francis Brown, William Manton, and Clark Wilcox; bounded by a private road, by allotments to John Kirk (now Thomas Chapman), Richard Taylor (now Samuel May) and John Newman (now Henry Spring). The plot was late in occupation of Clark Wilcox and was used by him as a nursery.
