    i) John Pryor of Baldock (county Hertfordshire), brewer (nephew and heir-at-law of John Izard of same, who died intestate as to his trust estates, and who survived his co-trustee, John Nutting of Ware (county Hertfordshire), malt-factor); ii) John Payne of Newell in parish of Wath (county Yorkshire), esquire and wife Sarah (late Sarah Squire, spinster); iii) John Morris of Ampthill, brewer; iv) Thomas Gostelow of Ampthill, land-surveyor; and v) Robert Arnold of Ampthill Grange, yeoman. Recites A) Enclosure Act of Maulden, under which the Commissioners allotted said John Payne :- 12 acres 2 roods 22 perches in Lowsey Mead (exclusive of a watercourse or new cut (10 feet wide) through same), bounded N. by old enclosures of John Payne, John Crook and John Ransom, E. by an allotment to Isaac Sharpless, on several parts of SE., S. and SW. by the parish of Silsoe, on remaining part SW. by 2nd allotment to John Payne, and on W. by 7th allotment to Duke of Bedford. B) Settlement to uses (Lease and Release), dated 25 and 26 August 1794: i) Sarah Squire of Hertford, (widow of William Squire of same, gentleman); ii) John Squire, late of Hertford but since of Cheshunt Park (county Hertfordshire), gentleman (eldest son and heir of William and Sarah (theretofore Sarah Pryor, spinster)); iii) William Squire of Hertford, mealman (2nd son of said William Squire by wife Sarah); iv) John Payne of Newell in parish of Wath (county Yorkshire) gentleman, and wife Sarah (one of the 2 daughters of said William Squire); v) William Pryor of the Poultry in London, silversmith and wife Elizabeth (the other daughter of said William Squire); and vi) Robert Manser of Hertford; and a Fine of Michaelmas term 1794] ... 3 acres 3 roods 2 perches in Lowsey Mead, bounded N. by a public carriage ditch (awarded by Enclosure Commissioners for carrying water from the Mills), and E. by the other part of the allotment in Lowsey Mead (purchased by John Lowe from said John Payne and wife Sarah), S. and part of W. by the brook or river, and on remaining part of W. by land of the Duke of Bedford; (which land is part of the allotment of 12 acres 2 roods 22 perches herein before-described); and free right of passage to the said John Morris through a close (formerly called Home Close, and now forming part of a close called Simpsons Garden). C) Two indentures of Release of Legacies,dated 2 November 1731, bequeathed by Will of Francis Child, from Francis Jennings senior to Timothy Squire and William Jennings. Also “Bill of Dismission in Squire and Squire”. D) Lease and Release, dated 24, 25 October 1755: i) Timothy Squire; ii) William Squire senior of Ware (county Hertfordshire), mealman (the elder son of said William [?rectius “Timothy”]Squire).; iii) William Squire junior of Hertford, mealman (grandson of said Timothy Squire, and eldest son of William Squire senior); iv) Sarah Pryor of Baldock (county Hertfordshire), spinster; and v) John Izard of Baldock, gentleman, and John Nutting of Ware, malt-factor. E) Copy of Will, dated 26 February 1780, of William Squire of Hertford, gentleman.
