    ... a messuage with appurtenances, used as a public house, and called the “Flying Horse” or “Running Horse”, formerly in occupation of said Abraham Perrin, and now of James Maddams, (purchased by Abraham Perrin from John Allen of Silsoe, gentleman, and Henry Robins of Clophill, blacksmith, trustees of the Will of Joseph Hill of Clophill, victualler, by Feoffment, dated 29 September 1741); ...and a cottage at Slutts Green in Hall End in Maulden, with orchard, garden or pightle formerly in occupation of William Witt and now of Thomas Webb, lying between house and pightle of John Glyn on E., and formerly of Widow Smart on W.; ...also 1¼ acres in Lowsie Mead in Maulden, formerly in occupation of John Charles and now of Thomas Webb, ½ acre whereof lies between the meadow of the Duke of Bedford on E., and formerly of John Findley senior on W., and ¾ acres between the meadow of George Brooks esquire on E. and W.; ...and also ½ acre in Lowsie Mead, formerly in occupation of William Witt and now of Thomas Webb, lying between the meadow of the Duke of Bedford on W., and formerly of William Witt and wife Mary on E., abutting N. on the common highway, and S. on the river; (which said cottage etc. was purchased by Abraham Perrin from William Witt senior and junior of Hendon (county Middlesex), carpenters, by Feoffment dated 7 July 1757); ...and also a close of arable (2 acres) in Maulden, formerly in occupation of John Jennings and now of John Maddams, between the house formerly of Daniel Burdon N., and the ground formerly of Widow Linford S., the king’s highway being on E., (which said close was purchased by said Abraham Perrin from Mary Gregory formerly of Wrest in Silsoe, but late of parish of St George, Hanover Square (county Middlesex), spinster, by Feoffment, dated 2 November 1754).
