...Devises to sister-in-law (who lives with him), his messuage in occupation of Joseph Sibley; several parcels of land; and a messuage (purchased of Daniel and William Punter, in the name of William Fossey, trustee); all in Harlington; for life, and then to sister Elizabeth Carter (wife of William Carter of Gustard Wood in Wheathamstead (county Hertfordshire), husbandman), and her 3 sons John William and Joseph Carter, and 2 daughters Sarah Thomas (wife of Edward Thomas of Kimpton (county Hertfordshire), tailor), and Mary Carter. And to sister-in-law Mary Peirson, an old dwelling house in Harlington. Bequests to sister-in-law Catherine Peirson, and kinswoman, Sarah (daughter of John Pooley of Poplars in Harpenden (county Hertfordshire).
