    ...5 closes in Samshill, viz: a close called Knowles (5 acres), between the close of said Sir William Briers on S., and the close called Bonners on N., abutting S. on the close called Bonners and the Field called the Lee; one cottage and close adjoining called Greate Briers (7 acres), between the Longe Close on E., and the cottage and close of William Row on N., and W. a lane leading from the said cottage and close to the common green in Samshill; a close called Litle Boners (2½ acres), with the close of Francis Wingate esquire , on N., and the close called Knowles on S.; Moo Close (5 acres) with a barn of five bays at N. end, the Lee Lane on E., and the pightle of Francis Wingate on W., and abutting on the common green NE., and the messuage of the said Richard Spicer on W.; and Barbers Close (4 acres), the close of the college and the messuage of the said Richard Spicer on E., another close of the college called Webbs Close on W., and the lane leading to Westoning on N.
