...Devises his cottage in Silsoe, and 3 cow commons, to his sister Mary Pearson, during the life of his mother Mary (wife of William Knight); and then to brother Samuel of Greenfield, charged with payment of legacy to brother John; and then to nephew, John Pearson (son of sister Mary), charged with payment of legacies to Mary and Ann Pearson (sisters of said John). Also devises a close containing 2 acres in Silsoe, in occupation of Thomas Bishop, to sister Mary Pearson, charged with payment to brother John of legacy left by Elizabeth Gooding (their grandmother), with reversion to Simon Pearson (son of said Mary).
