iii) the said Edward Carvel; which recites
b) Deed, dated 25 March 1664: George Whitamore to John Britnel, both of Eversholt, yeomen; which recites
c) mortgage, dated 2 January 1633/4: Robert Andrews alias Tiler, joiner, to John Burte, yeoman, both of Eversholt.]
...3 acres in Clack Mead in Eversholt, viz. 2 acres between land then of Thomas Symons NE., and of the lord NW., and 1 acre called the Damm lying at the over end of the said Mead, abutting NE. on Emme Lane (now Colly-bush Lane), with the Town land in occupation of said Robert to the S.; which 3 acres was demised by Thomas Symons senior of Eversholt, yeoman, John Ironmonger, gentleman, and William Ironmonger, gentleman, i) to Thomas Symons junior (son), on 18 April 1617; and ii) to Richard Carter, on 27 September 1621. d) assignment, dated 19 November 1687: John Britnel and wife Joan to their sons Thomas and Samuel Britnel.
