  • Admin/biog history
    First chapel built 1831, burnt down in a fire on 4 September 1844. A new chapel which included Wesleyan Day Schools was built 1845, extended in 1853 and again in 1858. The chapel again burnt down in September 1908 along with the schools, which were replaced the following year by a new school in Britain Street under the control of Bedfordshire County Council.
