  • Title
    Abstract of Mr. Seeling's title to a freehold and copyhold estate at Shillington. Endorsed : "Mr. Wilshere and his wife executed the conveyance to Mr. Reeves and then delivered the old title deeds to Mr. J. Webb, Mr. Malet's clerke."" This was written by Mr. R. Tristram in 1766 who was then acting for the mortgagee, Mrs. Carter.

William Seeling Property in x above, except the following which is reserved to Simon Lucas :- 9 acres meadow in the Great Mead formerly Mrs. Stoughton's Messuage, orchard and close in Woodmen End, Shillington, hertofore Abraham Nokes' 3 half acres land or meadow abutting North on the Messuage Subject to Mortgage term, 25 July 1691, recited in H/WS271, and another Mortgage term of 1000 years to Tufnaile, 3 July 1695, and another mortgage term of 1000 years, since become vested in Hanscombe. All these terms are now assigned in trust for Seeling to attend the inheritance. Further mortgages, 1713, 1714, 1729 are added in another hand.
