    Frank Snitch, Relieving Officer of the Biggleswade Union - in the early part of May 1836 Mary the wife of Job Whittamore applied to him for relief for herself and her two children, both girls under the age of 7 years. He gave her relief and has continued to do so ever since out of the funds of the parish of Campton. He enquired for Job Whittamore and heard he had run away from the parish and was absent from the time he gave the first relief until very lately.Whittamore is able bodied and able to work. He has already been conviced of being a rogue and vagabond and punished for it.
