Summary of the letter: - There were 20 outbreaks of swine fever in Bedfordshire between 5 April and 20 June, with 409 head of swine being slaughtered. - An order was issued by the Local Authority that dogs should be muzzled as a precaution against rabies. - Cases of sheep scab previously reported are now cured.
