20 March Magistrate: George P Livius, C C Beaty Pownall. 25 prisoners in custody. 5 prisoners have been committed since last entry. None discharged.4 prisoners on extra diet. Medicine ordered for 6. One prisoner, John Woods, is stated to have the leprosy. Mr Clifton for bread and flour. 23 March Thomas Abbott Green Blunt, a prisoner cautioned to obey the Chaplain in future, he promised obedience - if not, he must be punished. the Chaplain will report him next Monday. Directed the Gaoler to separate the boys - 6 being in one yard - the woman may be placed in one yard, which enables the gaoler to plac three boys in that yard.
