Scope and Content
Magistrates: George P Livius, Thomas Abbott Green. 16 prisoners in custody. The prisoner, Samuel Dunham who is insane and whose trial has been deferred in consequence is very excited state and must have two assistants. The Secretary of State has this day been written as well the Clerk of Borough Sessions to sent the finding of the jury as to his insanity. One of the prisoners John Bickerton has applied to have [ermission to be supplied with snuff but this infringement of the prison rules cannot be allowed without the Medical Officer states it to be necessary for health.
