    13 October Magistrates: Charles Gillies Payne, Frederick C G Passy The prisoner James Waylett is still in irons - a detailed report will be submitted to the Sessions. 14 October Michaelmas Sessions - Francis Pym. 27 October Magistrates: Charles Moore, William Shove Chalk, C C Beaty Pownall. 19 Prisoners in custody - 17 males 2 females. 3 received during the week, 2 discharged. A decrease in the number of prisoners compared with corresponding week last year of seven. The Governor made application to have the appointment of his daughter as substitute for Mrs Treganza during her illness ratified by the Visiting Justices, which was acceeded to. The order has been receievd from the Secretary of State for the removal of the convicts (6 in number) which will accordingly take place on Wednesday next.
