11 August 1845

From: 1845 To: 1845

Magistrates: Charles Gillies Payne, William Shove Chalk, Thomas Abbott Green. 19 prisoners in custody. Received during the week - 3 males. 2 males and 2 females discharged. [Fanny] Church having had a return of her fits the night nurse was ordered to attend her. Three males on extra diet by order of the surgeon. No order has been received from the Secretary of State for the removal of Jacob Reid to the Asylum. Mr Giles report on th estate of the roof of the prison was received and ordered to be referred to the Magistrates at the Shire Hall on Saturday. The surgeon to make a special report as to the present state of the health of Jacob Reid.
